Based on specifications and criteria defined by our customer (typically an investor), Cleantech Scandinavia screens for cleantech start-up and growth companies to come up with a selection of potential investment opportunities. Selection criteria can include a geographical scope (e.g. one or more of the Nordic countries), the development stage of the companies and/or the amount of money that are looking for, the type of technology (e.g. focusing on one or more cleantech segments), etc. Our 'Screening' service can be conducted with goal of either supplying basic information about a large number of companies fulfilling the set of criteria, or more detailed information about a more restricted selection of particularly interesting companies.
Consists of an exclusive analysis of a specific cleantech sgment from a Nordic or national perspective. It includes an overview of the market with key aspects such as drivers, maturity stage, types of actors, investment and exit opportunities, etc. Our 'Segment Analysis' service is mainly conducted for venture capital and private investors.

Based on extensive feedback collected from investors and companies, we have developed a methodology to screen and pre-evaluate specific cleantech investment opportunities. It consists of a set of questions, which, put together, enable to describe the characteristics of a company's team, technology, target market, business development, etc. This information is then interpreted with additional external expert opinions sought. This service provides an initial decision-making support and highlight key areas demadning further attention. it should therefore be seen as a first step towards a due dilligence process. 'Second Opinion' is delivered as a written document as well as optional presentation session. It can be commissioned by a an investor interested in an initial evaluation of an identified potential investment opportunity, or a company seeking help to profile itself towards potential investors. In the second case, our service also includes an introduction of the company's profile to selected investors.
